Dixons Sixth Form Academy

Opening in 2019 with an initial cohort of 380 students and a plan to grow to 900 students over two years Dixons SFA focuses on preparing students for Russell Group University student or degree level apprenticeships. Like all academies in the Dixons trust we are a values driven organisation with a mandate to whatever it takes to address educational and social disadvantage. Students from Bradford postcodes are underrepresented at Russell Group Universities and Oxbridge – we plan to play our part in seeing that change.  

In line with our mission, we are a level three College with a focus on subjects that facilitate applications to Russell Group Universities. Alongside Core qualifications all our students complete an EPQ, eat together once every week, follow a course of short academic lectures and take part in enrichment activities.
